The talk at Canberra Girls Grammar School was focussed on water sustainability initiatives in the ACT and surrounds for year 2 students. The children had some interesting and thoughtful questions. Tayanah also had seeds to hand out as part of the ACTSmart Carbon Challenge initiative, launched last week by Minister Simon Corbell.

The ACT is leading the way nationally in tackling climate change, and we are well on the way to achieving ambitious targets in reducing carbon emissions.  The Carbon Challenge is a fun way to get involved in becoming more sustainable, while competing against your friends through completing self nominated challenges and earning points towards your profile.  Each challenge has lots of great tips and advice on how to complete them.
