Cotter and Queanbeyan River Environmental Flows
State/Territory: ACT

The Cotter and Queanbeyan Rivers are regulated to supply water to the Australian Capital Territory. Assessment is undertaken in spring and autumn each year at sites below dams on the Cotter and Queanbeyan Rivers. The aim of this work is to assess the effects of regulated flow regimes on ecological condition and contribute to adaptive management. This work has also lead to many other studies on environmental flows around the country.
